Our Society
Board of Directors
Join our Board of Directors for an incredibly rewarding and meaningful way to give back. Westminster House's Board of Directors is a governance board model. Individuals who sit on the board are responsible for overseeing the organization’s activities, but the organization’s day-to-day operations are the Executive Director’s responsibility. Westminster House Board members meet periodically to discuss and vote on the organization’s affairs. Please note that Westminster House board positions are not paid positions.

Society members have the opportunity to participate in Westminster House Society’s Annual General Meeting, including voting on Board elections and other matters requiring a vote of the membership.

Please note: Membership applications remain open; however, new members joining after the Society Year - end ( March 31st )will not be eligible to vote for the current year AGM. New members will be eligible to participate in voting at future AGMs, provided their membership is in good standing
Call for Nominations
In accordance with Westminster House Society’s bylaws, a call for nominations to the Board of Directors is issued at least three months prior to the Annual General Meeting. Nominations must be submitted to the Executive Director.
To be eligible for nomination, individuals must have been members of Westminster House Society in good standing for a minimum of six months at the time of nomination.

Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on September 25, 2026 at 5:00 PM via Zoom.
At the AGM, Westminster House Society’s voting members:

Review the previous fiscal year’s activities

Review the Society’s audited financial statements

Appoint the auditor for the upcoming year

Vote to elect or re-elect directors to the Board

Vote on special resolutions, when applicable
