Youth and Emerging Adults (YEA)

We provide addiction recovery services to youth and emerging adults (YEA). Our YEA program is 6 months in length. During their stay, clients explore the core issues that led to their addiction. The youth and emerging adult program (YEAP) presents the framework and an action plan that leads to sustainable recovery.

The YEA live in a separate facility within the Westminster House campus. The peer-to-peer environment supports the youth to be supervised at all times. Youth and emerging adults are supported to improve overall functioning via participation in long-term residential addiction treatment using our unique Social Model.

Westminster House provides a continuum of care that includes a mental health assessment, individual and group counselling, peer support, balanced diet and nutrition, recreation, socialization, family support, support recovery transitional programs including continuing care and access to educational opportunities post-treatment.
