Y.E.A.P. Go Bowling
This month, Westminster House Society (WHS) Youth and Emerging Adult Program (Y.E.A.P.) staffer Cassy took our youth girls for an afternoon of bowling and the Zone Bowling Alley in Coquitlam. They all said this was a highlight of their month and their first time bowling clean and sober. There were lots of laughs and also some serious competition between Cassy and the girls. In the end, it was one of the youth girls that was declared the day’s winner (or so they say). This is an excellent example of how the WHS social recovery model fosters longstanding recovery, as demonstrated that these girls can still have fun while clean and sober.
