GivingTuesday Canada unites communities by sharing our capacity to care for and empower one another.” It is a time when charities, companies and individuals join together and rally for favourite causes. Tuesday, November 30th marks the opening day of the 2021 giving season. In the same way that retailers take part in Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the giving community comes together for GivingTuesday.  GIVE HERE

This year Westminister House Society (WHS) is asking you to join us in the GivingTuesday movement and help women recover. WHS has been a beacon of hope in the community for 40 years. Our addiction recovery programs provide a full continuum of care to women and youth girls impacted by addiction. The centre now has 53 residential spaces spread over a campus of seven houses. Our programs respond to the needs of our communities at the dangerous intersection of a housing crisis, opioid overdose crisis, COVID 19 pandemic, and mental health crisis.

This Tuesday, November 30th help us provide women with the very basic and fundamental need of clean clothes by raising the funds to purchase a new washer and dryer. We are asking you to join the GivingTuesday movement and help us reach our goal of $3000 to purchase this equipment.
