Westminster House employee must meet and comply with the following
- Have a clear criminal record check regarding working with vulnerable women and be bondable.
- Submit a medical certificate before beginning employment certifying that they are medically capable of carrying out assigned duties.
- Comply with the immunization program of The Fraser Health Authority that is recorded in their personnel file.
- Have tuberculosis clearance (current TB test documentation)
- Client Care workers need a basic knowledge of addictions and must complete, within their first-year Basic Counselling.
- Client Care Workers to enrol an approved Substance Abuse Certificate Program within 12 months of employment
- Kitchen and Client Support workers are to have completed Food Safe.
- Require working knowledge of the 12 Steps.
- Complete the St. John Ambulance Basic First Aid course and be trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
