Opportunities for Giving

Each year, Westminster House assists hundreds of women struggling with addiction through its long-term, abstinence-based recovery program. Doctors, therapists, private treatment centres and others knowledgeable in addiction counselling, consistently refer clients to Westminster House and commend staff on the high level of services delivered, which directly contribute to clients’ successful recovery and reintegration into society. The goal is to continue to help all women in need, but this can only be achieved through the support of caring individuals and organizations. Your gift will make a difference to so many lives. Service Donations: A gift of service from a professional, trade or community service organization offers a significant contribution to Westminster House - whether a donation of marketing or communications services, raffle prizes for fundraising events or Christmas presents for clients and their children.

Estate & Planned Giving: Remembering Westminster House in your will significantly assists the program sustain its mission of service to those affected by addiction. Volunteer Opportunities: Westminster House relies on volunteers to help provide care and enhance the treatment experience of the women in the recovery program. In the past year, Westminster House has received more than 5,000 volunteer hours donated to the program. Returning Alumni make up a significant part of the volunteer network at Westminster House, spending time mentoring current clients, exchanging stories, lending a supportive ear, or by simply being a shoulder to lean on. Volunteers have also participated in Community events at Westminster House working with residents on beautification projects, painting and clean-up jobs, and other facility improvement activities.
