2014 Grants and Major Gifts

Westminster House through the Julien House Society could not provide the quality of service that we do without the help of the Fraser Health Authority and the Province of British Columbia.

Because of the generous grants and donations provided this year, Westminster House was able to provide services to women who, otherwise, would fall through the (funding) cracks – Working Poor Initiative. Thank you John McKimm and SEV:B

With the strong support from GreenShield Canada, Westminster House has been able to help many women who do not have the ability to access funding. This initiative has launched a brand new program for Westminster House, stay tuned.

This year Westminster House was able to provide $16,455 in Education Bursaries though the On-Going Recovery Program; an open ended extension of the Westminster House residential Primary Care Program that focuses on improving long term sustainable recovery. Thank you to our many donors, the Province of British Columbia and a very generous Anonymous Donor!

The Westminster House Bed Room Project happened again this year with the help of the Mr. and Mrs. P.A. Woodwards Foundation. Thank you for all your help and support over the past 5 years; Mr. and Mrs. P.A. Woodwards Foundation.
